Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) to assist in "picking up goods" smartly
Entering the digital age of the 21st century, the logistics industry also needs to transform and change. The UFL Group tends to use new technologies to improve the efficiency of logistics operations, develop towards "intelligence" and "digitalization", and realize "smart logistics". The Group has identified the general trend of e-commerce and established "e+Solutions" to provide e-commerce with one-stop online store logistics services including warehousing, picking up goods, packaging and delivery, and introduced Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) to assist in "picking up goods" smartly.
Currently, e+Solutions has introduced 30 AMR, they are equipped with sensors on the top and bottom, which can find the required goods by reading the barcodes on the shelves. They can operate 24 hours a day. The entire project cost a seven-digit dollar. The AMR itself has an operating system, after the company purchased it, it was connected and adjusted to the logistics warehouse operating system developed by e+Solutions. The system is based on the principle of simple operation. E-commerce customers do not need to install additional software and applications, and can log in and review at any time to easily grasp the daily operations of the warehouse, such as inventory, orders and delivery progress. In addition to automatically allocating goods, the robot also uses artificial intelligence systems to analyze daily shipment volumes and make recommendations on the arrangement of popular goods, placing popular goods at the top of the list, eliminating the need for colleagues to conduct statistics and saving manpower.
